Fairview Baptist Church, at 900 Charlotte Street, is starting their Awana program up again on August 28. Awana is a fun program for children ages 2 through currently enrolled in 5th grade, which focuses on learning about God, the Bible, and missionary efforts around the country and world Fairview’s Awana program runs during the school year, and meets on Wednesday nights at 5:50 through 7:30pm. Children will have time to learn about missions, study the Bible, play fun games and spend time in music during their time here. To learn more, or to sign up for this year’s program, please visit the church website at https://fairview-baptist.org/Awana.
We also offer a youth group opportunity on Wednesday nights for students in 6th through 12th grade. Our youth group meets 6:15 - 7:30pm. The Wednesday meetings generally consist of time time, playing games, pizza or other food, a time to share prayer requests and pray, and then time spent in Bible study and application. There isn’t a sign up page for the youth group, and students can just come join us on Wednesday night. The youth meet in room 200 at the church.
We also have our Sunday morning kids and youth Bible Study time. For families not currently involved in a church on Sundays, we’d love to invite them to join us for worship at 8:30 or 11:00, and our Bible Study hour is 9:45-10:45. Our Bible Study hour is age/grade based, so we have groups for nursery, preschool, elementary, middle & high school, as well as several options for adults.
